ABOUT THE ARTIST

Des is a Makeup Artist located in Los Angeles California. Her passion for makeup artistry started at the tender age of 15. She was so infatuated with fine art that she took the inspiration and started creating her own art. Her personal connection to art is perpetual and stimulated her human thirst to go beyond her regular medium and try something different - more unique with no boundaries. 

 

As a freelance artist she continues to excel in the field of artistry by opening herself to new thoughts and ideas passed down from mentors as well as peers. She is trained in color theory and has many experiences in photographic work, HD work, and commercial work under all lighting conditions.

 

Des has the innate ability to bring out the natural beauty of her subject, no matter the gender, ethnicity, or character portrayal. She enjoys mastering every detail of flawless, intense, dramatic and artistic makeup.

 

Along with being a Makeup Artist, Des is also a wife to an amazing man and a mother of a 15 year old. She also travels the world on her spare time for work and play. Des credits her continued success to her desire to give back to her community. She has always made time in her busy schedule to donate her talent and energy to a list of valuable causes.
