one-on-one training
This is a private one-on-one appointment tailored to the individual needs of each client, based upon your level of makeup experience (Basic, Intermediate and “Artiste in Training“) this service is for the individual who wants to learn the tricks of the trade. Services Approximately 75-90 minutes. Receive a 25% product discount on all purchases made that day.
CUSTOM MAKEUP EVENTS OR PARTIES
Introductory instruction of basic skin care and daily makeup application. Personal regimen is discussed and product recommendations are made. Shopping list and guide to stores included.
Basic level
intermediate level
A more in-depth look at your regimen and a total overhaul of your vanity contents is made. Product recommendations, tool training and basic upkeep of kit will be demonstrated. Looks customized on your skin type, face shape and skin tone will be demonstrated along with hands on learning experience. Shopping list included.
“Artiste in Training” level
A several session package that includes basic instruction, total overhaul of your current makeup stash and vanity, product recommendations, step by step instruction by Des for you specifically. One on one makeup application and instruction as you apply it to yourself. The grand finale is a shopping trip escorted by Des to the Sephora or MAC store . In-store tips and tricks, VIP shopping status and behind the scenes with Des.
“Ultimate Artiste” Package
For the aspiring entrepreneur. Bring your makeup artistry experience and learn how to turn your talent into your own thriving makeup artistry business. Des will share with you the skills and lessons she has learned over the past 10 years to grow her successful artistry business to the #1 most sought after Makeup Artist in the LA and OC areas. Learn how to grow your business to be successful and fulfilled. Learn what to stock your makeup kit with, how to service your clients and set yourself apart from your competition. Key marketing tools and how to keep your clients thrilled with your work and have flexibility in your work life that is unparalleled. Des will mentor you as you navigate through the start-up period. Apprenticeships will be available on a limited basis as you accompany Des on location and learn exactly how to cultivate your own income generating business.
